On December 10, the award ceremony of the Italian Mechatronics Prize (PIM) was held, promoted by Unindustria Reggio Emilia, in collaboration with Nòva – Il Sole 24 Ore, Club Mechatronica and Community Group. Eurofork was selected, along with four other industrial entities, as one of the top five most innovative companies in the Italian mechatronics sector.
Eurofork was recognized among the finalists thanks mainly to the ESMARTSHUTTLE solution, a shuttle system for managing automated multilevel warehouses that can be integrated into a 4.0 enterprise. The ESMARTSHUTTLE system is able to move in the three dimensions of space and enables automatic picking of packages in the warehouse.
The other companies that together with Eurofork were honored by the Scientific Committee were Technogym, Fameccanica, Fassi Gru and Ognibene Power.
The winner was Technogym to whom Eurofork extends sincere congratulations.
