Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products and handling solutions in the field of automation, ensuring they meet market demands and customer specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and product development methodologies to solve mechanical issues encountered by suppliers or other company departments during production. Conduct verification calculations of components and FEM analyses to optimize material selection and treatments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including the technical office, purchasing department, and production, to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle, intervening to resolve issues encountered during prototype production and, subsequently, for order creation.
- Manage the prototyping, testing, and validation process to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
- Conduct feasibility analyses and cost studies to assess the potential of new projects, ensuring the company remains competitive in all aspects of its products.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including product specifications, schematics, and user manuals.
- Support the sales team in training and presenting new products to clients.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Aerospace, or Automation Engineering);
- Excellent knowledge of technical drawing and structural calculation for sizing key mechanical components;
- Previous experience in machine development in automation or related industries;
- Knowledge of major design software such as CAD and SolidWorks;
- Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and collaborate with various departments;
- Problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail;
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
